HARIANKALTIM.COM– Ribuan warga dari berbagai daerah di Kalimantan Timur memadati kediaman resmi Wakil Gubernur Kaltim, H. Seno Aji, dalam rangka silaturahmi Iduladha 1446 H, Jumat (06/06/2025).
Acara yang awalnya ditargetkan untuk 1.000–2.000 tamu ini membludak hingga melebihi kapasitas.
“Kami mohon maaf jika ada ketidaknyamanan. Antusiasme masyarakat sangat luar biasa, di luar ekspektasi,” ujar Seno Aji.
Silaturahmi yang dimulai pukul 14.30 WITA dan berakhir sekitar pukul 17.00 WITA ini berlangsung dalam suasana penuh keakraban.
Tidak hanya warga muslim, masyarakat lintas agama juga turut hadir, termasuk perwakilan dari komunitas Kristen, Buddha, dan Konghucu.
“Ini bukti nyata bahwa semangat kebhinekaan dan toleransi di Kalimantan Timur sangat kuat,” tambahnya.
Wagub menyampaikan harapan agar momen Iduladha ini mempererat persaudaraan dan membawa keberkahan bagi seluruh masyarakat.
Ia juga mendoakan peningkatan kesejahteraan ekonomi warga dan kemajuan Kaltim secara menyeluruh.

Thousands of residents from across East Kalimantan gathered at the official residence of East Kalimantan Deputy Governor H. Seno Aji for an Iduladha 1446 H open house on Friday (June 6, 2025).
Originally prepared for 1,000 to 2,000 guests, the event was overwhelmed by a much larger crowd than expected.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. The public’s enthusiasm has been extraordinary, beyond our expectations,” said Seno Aji.
The gathering, which started at 2:30 p.m. WITA and concluded around 5:00 p.m., was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Not only Muslims attended, but people from various faiths also participated, including representatives from the Christian, Buddhist, and Confucian communities.
“This is clear proof that the spirit of diversity and tolerance in East Kalimantan remains very strong,” he added.
The Deputy Governor expressed hope that the spirit of Iduladha would strengthen bonds of brotherhood and bring blessings to all communities.
He also offered prayers for the improved welfare of East Kalimantan’s citizens and continued progress across the region.
