HARIANKALTIM.COM — Wakil Gubernur (Wagub) Kalimantan Timur H Seno Aji menyerahkan bantuan 21 ekor sapi kurban kepada Islamic Center dari Pemerintah Provinsi Kaltim, termasuk satu ekor dari Gubernur Kaltim H Rudy Mas’ud dan satu dari Wakil Gubernur sendiri.
Wagub menyerahkan secara simbolis kepada Imam Besar Masjid Raya Baitul Muttaqien Samarinda, KH Muhammad Rasyid, usai Salat Iduladha 1446 H, Jumat (06/06/2025).
Penyerahan dilakukan di pelataran Masjid Raya Islamic Center, disaksikan ratusan jemaah dan pengurus masjid.
Seno Aji menyebut peningkatan jumlah hewan kurban sebagai cerminan membaiknya kesejahteraan masyarakat.
Ia juga berharap distribusi daging kurban menjangkau seluruh lapisan masyarakat, termasuk umat non-Muslim.
“Momentum Iduladha harus menjadi ajang memperkuat kepedulian dan solidaritas antarumat,” ujarnya.
Laporan dari Badan Pengelola Islamic Center menyebut total hewan kurban yang diterima mencapai 28 ekor sapi—21 dari Pemprov Kaltim, 4 dari pengelola masjid, dan 3 dari jemaah—serta 11 ekor kambing.
Distribusi kupon daging kurban sebanyak 2.965 lembar telah disebar kepada para warga sekitar Islamic Center, jemaah, muallaf binaan, pondok pesantren, panti asuhan, dan majelis taklim di Kota Samarinda.
Penyembelihan hewan kurban dijadwalkan berlangsung Sabtu, 7 Juni 2025, mulai pukul 07.00 WITA hingga selesai. (ZYN/ADV/DISKOMINFO)

The Vice Governor of East Kalimantan, H. Seno Aji, symbolically handed over 21 sacrificial cows to the Islamic Center on behalf of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government. The donation includes one cow from East Kalimantan Governor H. Rudy Mas’ud and one from the Vice Governor himself.
The symbolic handover took place on Friday (June 6, 2025), following the Eid al-Adha 1446 H prayer, and was received by the Grand Imam of Baitul Muttaqien Grand Mosque Samarinda, KH Muhammad Rasyid.
The ceremony was held in the courtyard of the Islamic Center Grand Mosque, witnessed by hundreds of worshippers and mosque officials.
Seno Aji stated that the increase in the number of sacrificial animals reflects improving public welfare.
He also expressed hope that the distribution of the sacrificial meat would reach all levels of society, including non-Muslim communities.
“The Eid al-Adha moment should serve as a means to strengthen compassion and solidarity among all people,” he said.
According to a report from the Islamic Center Management Agency, a total of 28 cows were received—21 from the provincial government, four from the mosque administrators, and three from the congregation—as well as 11 goats.
A total of 2,965 meat distribution coupons have been distributed to residents living around the Islamic Center, congregants, supervised converts (muallaf), Islamic boarding schools, orphanages, and religious study groups (majelis taklim) throughout Samarinda.
The slaughter of the sacrificial animals is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, starting at 07:00 WITA until completion. (ADV/RED2/h)
